Job Summary
Mubarak Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified and experienced Orthopedic Doctor / Orthopedic Specialist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and the musculoskeletal system.
The doctor will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, conducting consultations, recommending treatment plans, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, injuries, fractures, joint pain, back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal problems.
Provide professional medical consultations and explain diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery plans clearly to patients.
Prescribe medications, physiotherapy, rehabilitation plans, braces, supports, or other required treatments.
Evaluate X-rays, MRI, CT scans, laboratory reports, and other diagnostic results to support accurate diagnosis.
Manage both acute and chronic orthopedic cases according to approved medical standards.
Refer patients for surgery or specialized procedures when required.
Follow up with patients to monitor treatment progress and recovery.
Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
Work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, radiologists, and other medical staff.
Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and professional medical ethics at all times.
Follow the rules, regulations, and clinical guidelines of the UAE healthcare authorities.
Requirements
Medical degree from a recognized university.
Specialization in Orthopedics / Orthopedic Surgery.
Valid DOH / HAAD license or eligibility is preferred.
Previous experience as an Orthopedic Doctor or Orthopedic Specialist is required.
Strong knowledge of orthopedic diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain medical conditions clearly to patients.
Ability to work professionally in a busy medical center environment.
Strong decision-making, patient management, and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English is required. Arabic or other languages will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the UAE or GCC healthcare sector.
DOH licensed candidates will be given preference.
Experience in outpatient orthopedic consultations.
Knowledge of physiotherapy and rehabilitation coordination.
